What each layer runs on
The layer a client actually sees, and the only one they can judge without help. Components, tokens and the rules that keep them coherent — built so the tenth screen costs less to ship than the first and still looks like it belongs.
- Figma
- Where the interface is drawn before it becomes code.
- React
- Component UI. The layer most screens are assembled from.
- Tailwind CSS
- Utility CSS, so styling stays next to the markup.
- Framer
- Declarative animation, close to React's own model.
State, routing, the API behind them and the store underneath that. Everything is typed end to end, which means the compiler catches on Tuesday what a code review would have missed on Friday.
- TypeScript
- Types across the whole app, not only at the edges.
- Next.js
- Routing, rendering, and the server boundary.
- Node.js
- The runtime most of the APIs run on.
- MongoDB
- Document storage, where the shape of the data still moves.
Where the work goes to live, and the part a client only notices when it is wrong. Environments are split before launch rather than after, and whoever built it is the one who deploys it — so nothing is lost in a handover that never has to happen.
- Vercel
- Default host for anything Next.js shaped.
- Netlify
- The same job, where a project already lives there.
- Google Cloud
- Gemini and Firebase both sit here, so most projects already do.
- Firebase
- Auth and document storage without a server to run.
Models wired into a product rather than demoed beside one. Every step is traced, not just the final answer, because the tool call that looks broken is usually not the one that failed — and guardrails run on both sides of the model, before the prompt and after the response.
- Google Gemini
- The model behind most of the generation work.
- LangGraph
- Agent graphs, where a single prompt stops being enough.
- LangChain
- Retrieval and tool plumbing around the model.
- Python
- The language the model-side services are written in.

Record
- Rev AEDUMatriculationAziz Fatima Educational Complex2020 – 2021
Where the interest started. BASIC first, then networking, and the first front-end work alongside it — the point where computers stopped being a subject on the timetable and became something to build with.
- Rev BEDUIntermediatePunjab College2022 – 2023
Where the core programming concepts actually landed — ICS, so computing was the subject rather than something done beside it. Also the robotics team: Arduino, hardware and software together, and IoT projects built to be taken to competition rather than left on a bench.
- Rev CEDUBS Computer ScienceUniversity of Central Punjab2023 —
The degree turning all of that into a profession, and still running. First place at the university's programming project exhibition along the way.
- Rev DCERTAI & Data ScienceSaylani Mass Training Programme2024 – 2025
Python through to agentic AI, in one programme. The groundwork the model-side of the projects above is built on, rather than a certificate collected for the line on a CV.
Certificate ↗ - Rev EWORKFreelanceIndependent, remote2025 —
Where the learning turned practical. What it has actually produced is better told in the next section, in clients' words rather than mine.
- Rev FWORKContent creationInstagram — @sheikhahmed.dev2026 —
Short-form video about building software. Recent posts have passed two million views — attention earned in the first second, which is the same problem a landing page has.
What clients report
3 reportsWe were trying to resolve a backend issue but couldn't find a solution. Then we found Ahmed, and he handled it very well. We're really happy with his work. His communication is good, and he's a great problem solver with strong technical expertise.
Ahmed was excellent to work with. He quickly identified and resolved our server issue and demonstrated strong server administration and troubleshooting skills. He was professional, reliable, communicative, and paid close attention to detail throughout the process. His solution restored the server's performance and stability, and everything is now working smoothly and reliably. I would highly recommend Ahmed for server-related work.
We were struggling to integrate a complex third-party API into our web application and kept running into bottleneck errors. Ahmed stepped in and resolved the underlying architecture issues efficiently. His attention to detail is outstanding, and he kept us updated throughout the process with clear and transparent communication.
